Join the Chabad at the Shore - Chai Center and the Sara & Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton University for the premiere screening of Saved from the Shoah: The Hammerschlag Family Torah Returns, a documentary chronicling the remarkable journey of a 250-year-old torah that survived the Holocaust and has now been restored and made kosher.
In 1939, the Hammerschlag family fled Nazi Germany, carrying their treasured Torah to safety. Now restored, its final letters will be completed at Chabad, followed by the premiere of Saved from the Shoah, documenting its remarkable journey of survival, memory and renewal.
