Wildwood Summer Center

During the summer, between 300 and 500 Israeli merchants, store owners and their staff make Wildwood NJ their home. Away from their families and communities many feel a need to connect to something Jewish. Recegnizing this need Chabad established a center in wildwood.

   The Wildwood Chabad Center, Staffed by young Israeli Shlichim, serves as a focal point for this community, providing for their religious and social needs, with Shabbat and High Holiday services and kosher food, counseling and assistance with life-cycle events. Our most popular program is Shabbat dinners which attracts more than 100 people every Friday night.

   The goal of Chabad House of Wildwood is to create a home away from home for these  families who have come from Israel.  The Center offers a Synagogue which prays in the traditional Sefardi style, has daily Torah classes & organizes many events throughout the summer where Israelis  can spend time with friends and meet new people.
